About
Eli Tepperberg has been involveld in sports and recreation his entire life as athlete, instructor, and coach. He has participated in the sport of triathlon since 1982 when he first competed in the Kona Ironman World Championship.
As a former Master Scuba Diver Trainer he has trained hundreds, and was often heard saying "Just Breathe Deep" as mantra to help his students focus on their skills, and overcome their fears. Now as a multisport endurance coach he believes that journey begins not only with the first step, but also with the first breath.
Eli resides in Vernon NJ, with his life partner, Fran Trees, 4 cats, a dog, and a 27 year old fish. As an athlete Eli still enjoys competing in a variety of multisport events from draft legal super sprints to full ironman triathlons.
Fun Fact: In 1982 after competing his first Ironman,he was a personal trainer to Rod Stewart and Wayne Newton.
